In an effort to preserve the Mayoral history of the City of Weatherford, the City plans to create a pictorial “Wall of Mayors” utilizing a well-kept list of former Mayors that dates back to 1858. “It may be a long shot, but my hope is that enough descendents of our former Mayors still live in and around Parker County and have photographs that they are willing to share. Knowing how passionate our residents are about the history of our community, I am optimistic that we will be able to collect a photo for each of them,” said City Manager Jerry Blaisdell. The City is seeking 5x7 photographs of all former Mayors dating back as far as 1858.
