Due to road conditions the library will be closed today Thursday, March 5th, 2015. You may renew your books online by clicking the 'Library Catalog' link on our web page and logging in on the 'Patron Account' page. Book and video drops are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please check our website for opening information.

Notice:

The Weatherford Public Library will not be receiving any instruction booklets, schedules or ancillary tax forms this year. This is a decision made by the IRS due to budget constraints. We will receive a limited number of 1040, 1040A and 1040EZ forms, but not the instructions. Any tax product can be obtained through the website IRS.gov. If you have any questions call 817-598-4150.

What We Do
The Weatherford Public Library provides free library services for Weatherford and the Parker County community and informs, enriches, supports, and empowers its citizens by promoting lifelong learning opportunities and a love of reading.

Services We Provide
  • Provide access to a collection of approximately 90,000 items in book, magazine, newspaper, audiobook, sound cassette, compact disc, videocassette, DVD, eBook, eAudiobook, and digital magazine format.
  • Host meetings of community groups and organizations.
  • Provide educational and entertainment programming, including weekly storytimes.
  • Provide free Internet access to the public.
  • Reference desk is available to help answer questions and assist in research.
  • Genealogy department is available to help trace and document ancestry.
