Powers and Duties
- The Weatherford Economic Development Authority, Inc. is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(6) economic development business corporation.
- The board creates a partnership of the community, including:
· City of Weatherford
· Weatherford Municipal Utility Board
· Weatherford Independent School District
· Weatherford College
· Parker County Hospital District
· Weatherford Chamber of Commerce
· To lead the economic development activities for the promotion, marketing, attraction and retention; to the City of Weatherford, Texas; including the attraction & retention of new and existing commercial, industrial and manufacturing prospects, the marketing of industrial & commercial sites and the identification of target commercial and industrial enterprises.
